Bathet Um Myal Village, Along With The Adjoining  Mud Villages, Is An Important Center For Learning About Traditional Building Models Is Syria.

The Mudbrick Domes Are The Significant Architectural Common Feature In The Village, They Might Have Attached Or Adjacent Annexes Of Flat Roof Structures. The Village In The Mean Time Is Completely Deserted.

In The Most Cases, The Mudbrick Domes Stick Close To Each Other, And Some Of Them Are Unique. These Criteria Are Related To Kinship And The Function Of Domes That Are Used For In The First Place.

Ultimate Goal:

Develop A Plan For The Rehabilitation And Development Of The Area To Revive It After Its Desertion During War.

To Achieve This Objective, A Set Of Criterion Must Be Taken Into Consideration, As Follows:

- Understanding The Past And Present Structure Of The Community And The Key Person / The Mediator To Start The Work.

- Developing A Working Strategy Based On Previous Experiences And Studies Similar To The Context Of Um Myal Village.

- Developing An Implementation Plan Takes Into Account The Characteristics Of The Village And Challenges Of Working In It.
