As a thought-provoking initiative from the architect, Yara Zrein, and in collaboration with IWLab and the Stage Art Center for the Arts, an experimental workshop was launched, inviting those interested in the field of architecture, including students and engineers, to participate in a workshop on Reconstructing Memory during December 2018.
The workshop discussed the role of architects in the process of producing spaces. As it shed light on the principles of participatory design by working with acting students at the Stage Art Center. Where the usual formulas of participatory design, such as the questionnaire and the direct question, will be replaced by the translation of the representative performance based on spatial memory, which is the embodiment of needs inspired by the situations of social reality as a result of the crisis.
