600 years between Notre Dame Cathedral in France and Qalb Al Lawzeh in Syria
In response to a request from the BBC, a study was conducted about reports that circulated following the fire at Notre Dame Cathedral, claiming that Syria, in the Middle East, the region considered to be the birthplace of religion, was the place where this architectural style first appeared.
Notre Dame Cathedral's significance extends beyond its status as a masterpiece of architecture and art. It also has significance in terms of the cultural heritage of humanity, serving as a symbol of identity and memory, and serving as a foundation stone for the development of human civilization over time and space.
Without a question, what happened to this cultural treasure today hurts everyone who understands the value of heritage and how it touches each and every person. As a result, there have been several techniques that consider the event's location, significance, source, and responses in addition to its physical meaning. Therefore, it necessitates a return to a temporal setting where we can define the injured person as a part of our shared cultural heritage.
The architectural roots of the Notre Dame Cathedral style and its development history are among the most significant of these methods. They may be traced back to early Christianity's character as an eastern religion as historians looked for its Middle Eastern roots (Palestine and Syria).
