Stairs in most observed cases are located near the entrance which means that the entry door is placed under the first landing. Openings in the ground floor is constricted to the entrance door, but when reaching the second landing, metal frames can be noticed with or without glass sheets, or hollow blocks which are cheaper and easier for ventilation and provides privacy. The roof of the stairwell could be covered in a light metal sheet or not covered at all.
